As an information technology pioneer, Specialty Cash Register Company has been a provider of point-of-sale processing solutions for more than 25 years. 

For more than 15 years our company was a reseller of POS systems manufactured and developed by third-party providers. When our customers needed special functionality, we were limited to offering an off-the-shelf solution with little flexibility.

In the mid 1990’s we set out to develop our own system based on our years of experience in the industry. We polled our wide customer base and asked what would it take to make the ideal POS system.

After years of research and development, we now have that solution - ArgisPOS.

More than 1000 retail and restaurant units in 27 states are now running the ArgisPOS system.
